Woohoo!
I’m on a roll. I just finished the first editorial pass on my short story titled Verity. Clocking in at 6,794 words, I should be able to edit it down to about 6,000 words, and submit it to Critters tomorrow. It’s a dark and depressing piece of shit, but it’s done. I’ll post about any feedback I get from Critters (sometime after the 16th).
I also finished my flash fiction submittal for this month’s online flash fiction contest over on SFFWorld.com. It’s a blasphemous little story. Perfectly inappropriate for this time of year. 
I’ll probably alienate all the contest participants, but I don’t care. I think it’s funny. I’ll edit it a bit more tomorrow, and post here. As the contest’s ‘official’ deadline isn’t until the 20th, I’ll tweak it until then before submitting.
No, I haven’t worked on my novel, but that’s gonna happen late tomorrow and Sunday. Like I said, I’m on a roll.
