Well, diary, I have no idea what to post today, so I’ll recap my writing efforts.
- Working in fits and starts on my novel (we’ll call it Sangre, for now). I added some things to the outline that really got me excited, but now that means I need to do a little more research. I know that’s procrastination talking, but I did write a new scene (that I’m happy with), and outlined the next scene. Once I’m done with that, I think I will have an actual first chapter. Or, at least, something that resembles a first chapter.
- I still need to re-write/edit two of my short stories: Verity and Mice, not Dragons. I doubt I will ever find a home for these two stories other than on this here blog, but I’d like to get them finished so that they can get off of my To Do list. I plan on tackling them this weekend.
- Thinking of writing a short story with a fellow writer about a man and a dragon, maybe. We’ll see how that goes.
- Writing partner is too busy to finish Failing Jorea. I might have to take over the ship, and finish it myself. I really like the story, and want to see it finished. Hell, I think it might even be publishable…maybe.
That’s about all that’s going on in the land of tmso.
